Here's a short list of the most remarkable projects I've been involved in.

Imprisonment Facility

The largest project I've worked in, the construction of this imprisonment facility for the government of the state of durango, in mexico, was a 2.5 years project with more than 50 buildings inside a 125 acre land and a budget of more than120 million US dlls. there were more than 750 workers a day at peak.

  1. legal, court rooms, judge offices

  2. warden offices, administration

  3. guard rooms, arms depot, training

  5. visiting area, for family and intimate

  6. kitchen and other services (laundry) still under construction

Water Treatment Plant

This project worth more than1.9 million US dlls. and was developed for COEUR in its mining site at Palmarejo, Chihuahua, Mex.  As well as their offices in the same site, one of the challenging points were the unavailability of resources like ready-mix concrete, steel rebar, etc.  so I had to plan the logistics to move every required material from Chihuahua city which is (for loaded trucks) at least 18 hrs away.  The required concrete was designed and prepared in-situ and also I had to send cement, clean gravel and sand to be able to assure the quality of the concrete... the results... the project was delivered in time and in budget, zero accidents.

Traveling Cranes

I've designed and installed numerous traveling cranes over head type, most of them 10 ton capacity, different bridge lengths, heights, some included columns and foundations and even curved runway beams, bracings as required... others used existing building steel columns... but overall,  all of that designs were made by applying my design experience and an application I wrote to specifically design a traveler crane.  That app takes into account CMAA requirements as well as AISC outlines.  Take a look of some pictures of that achievements.
